Dr. Loghman Keshavarz embarked on his Taekwondo journey at the age of 9, driven by a profound passion for martial arts. His dedication led to remarkable success, as he became Iran’s champion for ten consecutive years across various age categories, from cadet to adulthood. For seven years, Dr. Keshavarz proudly represented Iran as a member of the national taekwondo team. Factors contributing to his success in Taekwondo include unwavering determination, an insatiable drive to excel and emerge victorious, and a willingness to employ daring techniques during matches, including the double turning kick, spinning turning kick, spinning hook kick, and rapid muscle movements. Dr. Keshavarz's unmatched courage was evident in his fierce battles. Among his notable achievements are a bronze medalist at World CISM Championships in 1993 in Canada, bronze medalist at the World Student Championship in 2006 (Russia), and gold medalist at the Fajr International Competition in 1994 (Iran). Additionally, he was the gold medalist in Iran's 1995 Basij International, the silver medalist in the 1991 Fajr International Competition, and the bronze medalist in Belgium’s international competition in 1989.
Grand Master Dr. Keshavarz stands out among other Taekwondo masters for his unwavering commitment to continuous learning and the scientific teaching of Taekwondo to his students. He firmly believes that Taekwondo transcends mere sport; it embodies a science that should be taught with scientific precision and foundational principles for the success and well-being of students.
With unparalleled expertise in exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, sports biomechanics, and sports psychology, coupled with a profound understanding of modern Olympic Taekwondo, Dr. Keshavarz imparts his knowledge to his students with utmost mastery. Holding an 8th-degree black belt and1st class Taekwondo master, he possesses a master's degree in sports science, a doctorate in sport management, and holds positions as a university professor and a distinguished figure in sports management.
Dr. Keshavarz's activities extends beyond the realm of Taekwondo. As a university professor, he has conducted over 200 research studies, many of which have been published in prestigious scientific journals or presented at global, international, and conferences. Furthermore, he has authored over 20 books in Sport, Sport management, and Taekwondo, which are utilized as educational resources in different universities worldwide.
Beyond physical prowess, Dr. Keshavarz instills in his students the values of morality, culture, social responsibility, spirituality, and emotional resilience through Taekwondo. His teachings aim not only to strengthen their bodies but also to nurture high self-esteem, respect for elders, and the principles of success.
